Maintaining the collection of purchase prices is a statutory task of the expert committee in accordance with the German Building Code. Copies of every property purchase, exchange and leasehold contract are made available to the expert committee by the notarizing bodies (usually notaries). The contracts are evaluated by the office, included in the purchase price collection and, if necessary, supplemented with further value-relevant data, some of which is additionally requested from the owners.

The data in the purchase price collection is subject to data protection and is therefore not accessible to everyone. The office will only provide information from the purchase price collection in justified individual cases.

Information from the purchase price collection can be requested in writing from the office of the expert committee for a fee, providing proof of legitimate interest.
