The citizens' office of the state capital of Wiesbaden is your central point of contact for registration and passport matters. In addition to the location in the city center, the local administrations also provide many of these services.
Here you can apply for an identity card or passport, register or deregister your place of residence, obtain a registration certificate or apply for a certificate of good conduct.

Note
From May 1, 2025, photographs for passports and ID cards will only be taken digitally. The photo can be taken by certified photographers. Paper-based passport photos can no longer be accepted due to the change in the law. Further information can be found here (opens in a new tab).
