Public order office

Registry office

The registry office records important events in life, such as births, marriages and deaths. These events are recorded in the respective civil status registers and the corresponding official documents, such as birth, marriage or death certificates, are issued.
Name changes and church resignations are also processed.

In addition, the registry office offers wedding ceremonies at many special wedding venues.

***Due to an internal training event, the registry office Mitte and the registry offices in the local administrations will be closed on Tuesday, April 01, 2025.

We will be available again as usual from April 02, 2025 ***.
