Office for Innovation, Organization and Digitization

The Office for Innovation, Organization and Digitalization is driving the digital transformation of the Wiesbaden city administration.

Digitalization with all its possibilities is determining many areas of our lives with increasing speed. Processes, IT systems and forms of work in public administration are not exempt from this. The state capital of Wiesbaden therefore founded the Office for Innovation, Organization and Digitalization on 1 February 2021 in order to pool expertise and develop suitable strategies. Through an organized exchange of experience and close cooperation with all offices, a hub for innovative ideas and concepts for modern administration is being created.

We work primarily internally, but our thoughts and actions are clearly focused on the needs of our customers, the citizens, companies and institutions of the city of Wiesbaden.

Specifically, in the Office for Innovation, Organization and Digitalization, we support the offices of the Wiesbaden city administration in the areas of organization, staffing plans, IT processes and infrastructure, digitalization, project management, process management, learning and knowledge management, new forms of work (New Work) and transformation.

The aim is to make working in the administration modern, future-proof and resilient. Under the guiding principle 'simply digital', digitalization is intended to make administrative processes simpler and faster for citizens.
