Adoption placement and counseling
The adoption agency of the Office for Social Work finds adoptive parents for children who cannot live with their parents and have been given up for adoption. Mothers who are considering giving up their child for adoption are given comprehensive advice and support.
The adoption agency advises and checks couples wishing to adopt. It also prepares the social report for a foreign adoption. The adoption agency is involved in court proceedings for adoption (also for step-parents) with a professional opinion.
The adoption agency also assists adopted young people and adults as well as birth parents in their search for information and contacts (biographical work).
