School social work children

School social work for children is a youth welfare service offered by the Office for Social Work in Wiesbaden and is currently located at 17 elementary school.

In close cooperation with the elementary school and other partners, school social work for children offers early support and assistance for children and their families. The close connection to everyday school life enables school social workers to support the personal, social and academic development of children using socio-educational methods. The aim is to improve the children's learning and living conditions and to prevent exclusion and disadvantage.

At eight elementary school, we still provide all-day care with full-day and three-quarter places for around 951 children. The childcare elementary school are open all year round, except for a three-week closure period during the summer vacations. Registration is required.
