Use the leisure facilities in the city forest

The city forest offers the citizens of Wiesbaden a wide variety of recreational and adventure opportunities. Sport and exercise are twice as much fun in the fresh air in green surroundings. The running routes offer special opportunities for popular sports. For example, you can do your laps on the Finnenbahn or Kilsloch running track or test your strength on the well-maintained fitness trail at the Rambach sports field.

A new attraction that combines sport, fun and nature is the climbing forest on the Neroberg, which opened its doors in May 2006. In August 2007, a mini-climbing garden for children under the age of eight was added in the immediate vicinity.

For those who want to take a more leisurely approach and deepen their knowledge of the forest, there is the neighboring forest adventure trail.

If you are interested in robber stories, we recommend a visit to the Leichtweißhöhle cave. A member of staff will be happy to tell the story of "Robber Leichtweiß" and let visitors dream of the past.
