Curious otter

The otter is a skilled swimmer and diver that lives in clean rivers and lakes. Its dense, water-repellent fur protects it from the cold, while its streamlined body allows it to glide through the water at lightning speed. Otters are mainly crepuscular and nocturnal and feed on fish, amphibians and small mammals. The otter was endangered for a long time due to habitat loss and environmental pollution, but thanks to conservation measures it is slowly returning to many regions.

Two otters live in the pheasantry.
Their names are Otto and Frieda.
