Eight companies have been involved as "district partners" in Erbenheim since 2024. Together with local social institutions, they implement projects that empower young people and families in the district in particular.
The district partner companies form a committed network with the local non-profit partners. The support ranges from donations in kind to logistics and advice. Above all, however, the companies donate the time and expertise of their employees.
The "circle of supporters" consists of other Wiesbaden companies that are kept informed on an ongoing basis and can get involved in projects as required.
The network is uncomplicated and works on an equal footing.

The project is coordinated and implemented by the UPJ e.V. association in cooperation with the Business Cooperation Office.
The "District Partners" are a pillar of the "Wiesbaden Engagiert!" strategy of the Office for Social Work. It promotes cooperation between companies and non-profit organizations, supports responsible corporate management and strengthens social cohesion in Wiesbaden.
The committed district partner network
Eight companies are currently involved as district partners, five of which have their headquarters or a local branch in Erbenheim:
Baumstark Haustechnik GmbH
BOSSY GmbH
Commerz Real AG
Fauth Gundlach & Hübl GmbH
Gramenz GmbH
Nassauische Sparkasse
Smiths Detection GmbH
SOKA-BAU
Ländches Verlag supports the project as a strategic partner with regular reporting in the "Erbenheimer Anzeiger".
On the non-profit side, social institutions and educational establishments are involved in the project: the district center, daycare centers, schools, the youth center, the children's parent center and shared accommodation for refugees.
The work of the network
The district partner companies meet several times a year to coordinate their activities. The non-profit partners in the district collect their requirements using an online tool.
The network meets every spring for the "Cooperation Forum". This is where current needs are coordinated with support options and concrete collaborations are initiated.
Twice a year, the stakeholders meet online to discuss current topics and respond to new needs.
At the end of the year, a joint evaluation is carried out with the help of the "benefit analysis"
Evaluation with "utility analysis"
The success of the district partner project is regularly evaluated using the utility value analysis method. At the beginning of the cooperation, all participants jointly developed success criteria. At the end of each year, the participants use the criteria to assess how well and effectively the cooperation has worked. The current "utility value" of the project results from the joint evaluation.
