Gourmet square at the weekly market

The Schlemmerplatz at Wiesbaden's weekly market offers a wide variety of culinary delights on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Snack stalls at a weekly market
The Schlemmerplatz at the weekly market.

Since 2024, the Schlemmerplatz has been located on the weekly market area in front of the Lumen steps. The seasonal vendors that were previously located there will be placed in the rounding between Baumallee and Marktplatz.

Offers at the gourmet market

This season you will find the following suppliers at the weekly market-Schlemmerplatz:

  • Lilien-Grill
Event professional Michael Hess and the "Lilien-Grill" offer bratwurst and fries.
  • Dutch kibbeling, fried fish and Belgian fries specialties
The offer is complemented by "Dovil's Star Food" by Uwe Zelczak from Taunusstein with Dutch kibbeling, fresh fried fish and Belgian fries specialties. The stall has also been part of the Biebrich weekly market since December 2021.
  • Laux coffee roastery (Wednesdays)
Coffee roaster Laux will be there for the first time. With a range of specialty coffees, fair-trade coffee and personal relationships with coffee farmers, they are bringing a new product from the Taunus region to Wiesbaden.
  • Maldaner Coffee Roasters (Saturdays)
The Malden Coffee Roasters from Wiesbaden will once again be providing the perfect coffee experience this year.
  • La Mangiaria
Italian food snack, pinsa, panuozzo, panini, focaccia, Italian crossaints.

Seating and high tables for lingering

In the shade of the trees, numerous seating options and bar tables will be set up in the lower area for people to enjoy and linger. There will also be new umbrellas directly in front of the LUMENS staircase to provide protection from the rain and sun. The Schlemmerplatz is intended as an extension of the existing range of snacks on offer at the weekly market, which is why all other existing food stalls will remain in their established locations.
