Integration department

The Integration Department is the central specialist department for integration work in the state capital of Wiesbaden. It is divided into the following areas of responsibility:

Intercultural promotion and projects (opens in a new tab), responsible for advising, promoting and implementing integration projects.

Coordination of German language acquisition (opens in a new tab), responsible for advice, support and networking of German language acquisition projects as well as the implementation of the municipal language support program.

Advice center for the recognition of foreign educational qualifications (opens in a new tab), which offers advice and assistance with the recognition of school, vocational and university qualifications obtained abroad.

Naturalization and determination of citizenship (opens in a new tab), responsible for providing advice on questions relating to naturalization and applying for or determining German citizenship.

In addition, the advice center for adult immigrants of the Caritas Association's Migration Service (opens in a new tab) and the Wiesbaden German Service Center (opens in a new tab) offer their services on the premises of the Office for Immigration and Integration. The Wiesbaden German Service Center is also the first point of contact for companies and their employees (opens in a new tab) in Wiesbaden for questions relating to German language training.

Please note:

The Caritas Association's migration advice service and the Wiesbaden German Service Center are also located in the same building.

The German Service Center can only be reached in person by appointment.
