Citizens can find out more about their city in the "Statistical Yearbook" and choose from a variety of topics depending on their interests. For example, they can find out that Wiesbaden has 5,000 hectares of forest and almost 1,000 hectares of green spaces, or that 36 percent of people living in Wiesbaden are also native Wiesbadeners.

The "Statistical Yearbook" offers a wealth of facts and figures that reflect the demographic, economic, social and cultural life in the Hessian state capital and its districts comprehensively yet compactly in the form of tables, charts and long-term development reviews.

It also contains

  • Explanations of statistical terms and the facts presented
  • Time series
  • Excel tables for individual further processing
  • Comparison with the major Rhine-Main cities

The Statistical Yearbook is divided into the 14 subject areas listed below. It is available in its entirety as a download at the bottom of the page. The subject areas are continuously updated throughout the year and are then available for download on the respective subpage.
