Political participation, civic participation and civic engagement
Participation in political events and urban development should be made possible for as many citizens as possible. As part of the whole, everyone can make a contribution.
New immigrants are initially faced with the challenge of finding their bearings in the new city, selecting important contact points and, if necessary, securing their residence and livelihood.
Migrants who have been living in Wiesbaden for a longer period of time have already completed this phase of arrival and should be given the opportunity to express their interests within the city and actively contribute to their involvement. The two fields of action Political Participation and Civic Participation and Engagement are intended to encourage people to get involved in the political process and to help shape the development of the city in every respect.
