Donkey

The Poitou donkey is one of the oldest and rarest donkey breeds in the world. Originally from France, it is immediately recognizable by its shaggy, long coat. These gentle animals were once used for breeding mules. Today, they are seriously threatened with extinction, which is why the pheasantry actively contributes to conservation breeding.

Four Poitou donkeys live at the pheasantry.
Their names are Kiwi, Lambada, Coco and Fam.
