Securing young talent and skilled workers

Girls' Day and Boys' Day 2025

On April 3, 2025, the nationwide Girls'Day and Boys'Day campaign will once again take place in Wiesbaden. Both interested pupils and companies can still register to take part.

Girls' Day and Boys' Day 2025

This year, Wiesbaden companies and institutions are once again opening their doors to give young people an insight into various professions on Girls' Day and Boys' Day.

The main aim of the campaign day is to inspire the skilled workers of tomorrow, especially for professions that are currently still subject to role or gender stereotypes. For example, schoolgirls have the opportunity to spend a day as a forester, road warden, system planner or chemical technician, while school pupils can get a taste of careers such as nurse, nursery school teacher or chemist. All pupils from Year 5 onwards can take part.

To be part of the day of action, interested companies and institutions can enter their offers online in the Girls' Day or Boys' Day radar. Young people can find all events and offers for Wiesbaden there and can register directly.

The Girls'Day and Boys'Day campaign is coordinated at a national level by the Kompetenzzentrum Technik-Diversity-Chancengleichheit e. V. and funded by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth (BMFSFJ), among others.
