Labor migration/Skilled Immigration Act

The Skilled Immigration Act came into force on March 1, 2020. The law also provides Wiesbaden-based companies with increased support in bringing qualified personnel to Germany in a timely manner. The first point of contact for this is the Wiesbaden Immigration Office with its Service Center for Labor Migration.

As the central point of contact, it coordinates all procedures to be carried out for the entry of the skilled worker and advises and supports the employer. To this end, the employer and the Immigration Office conclude an agreement. This enables companies to bring skilled workers to Germany within four months.
