The city congratulates everyone who is 80, 90, 95, 100 years old or older as well as on their golden, diamond, iron or grace wedding anniversary.

Approximately four weeks in advance, all those celebrating an anniversary are asked in writing whether they would like to be congratulated in person. For 80th, 90th and 95th birthdays as well as golden and diamond weddings, a member of staff from the protocol department or the local administration congratulates them and offers the Mayor's congratulations with a small gift. From the 100th birthday, the Iron or Grace Wedding, a member of the Wiesbaden City Council conveys the Mayor's congratulations.
