Meeting of the City Council

Next week, the city council will meet in public session. The Committee for Schools, Culture and Town Twinning and the Committee for Finance and Investments will also meet immediately beforehand.

The joint meeting of the Committee for Schools, Culture and Town Twinning and the Committee for Finance and Investments will begin on Wednesday, April 2, at 3 p.m. in the Town Hall, Schlossplatz 6, in room 22 on the first floor. The committees will discuss the agenda item "Erich-Kästner-Schule - decision paper on the conversion of the Rheingaupalais and construction of a new sports hall" together.

The city council will meet on Wednesday, April 2, from 4 p.m. at City Hall, Schlossplatz 6, in the council meeting room. The agenda includes the topics "Closing security gaps - better protective measures for Wiesbaden", "Enabling homeless people to participate in local politics", "Queer life in Wiesbaden", "Test shutdown of the so-called 'gatekeeper traffic light' on Berliner Straße", "Written question from the Die Linke parliamentary group regarding unsealing urban areas and greening them with species", "Implementation costs of GEG (Building Energy Act) and WPG (Heat Planning Act) for the building stock in municipal ownership or municipal sponsorship", "Head of personnel at ESWE Verkehr and possible criminal acts", "Costs and political damage of the Hinninger case", "Delay in answering questions under Section 45", "For landscape protection and drinking water protection - 'Wind power on the Taunuskamm' project" and "Payment card: Left-wing alliance suffers shipwreck - Wiesbaden must adhere to state regulation".
