"Ton ab" presents the Mäck Horn Bänd

On Wednesday, April 2, the Mäck Horn Bänd will be on stage at the Kulturforum, Friedrichstraße 16, from 7:30 p.m. as part of the "Ton ab" concert series.

The Mäck Horn Bänd is a three-piece music collective around Wiesbaden singer/songwriter Marcus "Mäck" Horn, who - even though he is no longer a teenager - is one of the new German song poets who emphasize the lyrics in their songs without neglecting the groove and power of the music. Mäck Horn is a truly unique creator of words and a perfect craftsman on the guitar. Deeply rooted in jazz, blues, funk and rock'n'roll, he creates his own personal songs from unconventional compositions and musical trains of thought. His musical ideas are presented live by Hans Bender on bass. His fat, deep tones provide the harmonic foundation for the band. Paul Maré sits on a simple wooden box and drums the soul into the songs. Together, the three musicians on guitar, bass and cajon act with a high-quality composure and mischievous humor. The trio presents their musical ideas in a multi-layered way and with individual charisma.

Admission costs 9 euros. Tickets are available on (0611) 313035 or at www.wmk-wiesbaden. "Ton ab" is a cooperation between the Wiesbaden Cultural Office and the Wiesbaden Music and Art School.
