Local councils meet
The local advisory councils of Sonnenberg, Klarenthal, Nordenstadt, Auringen and Heßloch will be meeting next week. At the public meetings, citizens will have the opportunity to ask questions before the agenda is taken up. Further information on the meetings can also be found at piwi.wiesbaden.de.
The meeting of the Sonnenberg local advisory council will take place on Tuesday, March 18, 7 p.m., at the local administration building, Hofgartenplatz 1. The members of the local advisory council will discuss the parliamentary group motion "Continued development of Sonnenberg cemetery" and a citizens' petition on the topic of "Parking lot Eichenwaldstraße 42".
The members of the Klarenthal local advisory council will meet on Tuesday, March 18, at 7.30 pm in the Evangelical Community Center, Graf-von-Galen-Straße 32. The agenda includes the presentation of the "Klarenthal Participation Standard" project, the local council's financial resources as well as the election of a new local council chairperson and the election of a new deputy chairperson. Group motions have been submitted on topics including "Making the district library more attractive", "Upcoming renovation measures at the district center" and "Draft local transport plan".
On Wednesday, March 19, the meeting of the Nordenstadt local advisory council will take place at 7 pm in the community center, Hessenring 46. The agenda includes funding and the local transport plan. Motions from the parliamentary groups deal with topics such as "On-site visit to the turning area behind the Taunushalle", "Green arrow signs for bicycle traffic", "New building for the Taunushalle and local administration" and "Signage 'Attention children'".
The members of the Auringen local advisory council will meet on Wednesday, March 19, 7 p.m., at the local administration office, Kirchenhügel 3. The topics of discussion will be funding and a parliamentary group motion on the subject of "Upgrading Auringen-Medenbach railroad station.
The Heßloch local council will meet on Wednesday, March 19, at 7 p.m. in the fire station, Jagdweg. The agenda includes a discussion with the Parks Department about the "Heßloch cemetery". Motions from the parliamentary groups and the local chairman have been submitted on the topics of "Dog tax - use of revenue" and "Presentation of the local transport plan".
