Traffic restrictions for the 2025 Carnival Sunday parade
This year, the traditional Shrove Sunday parade in Wiesbaden will take place on March 2. The route taken by the procession remains unchanged.
This year, the route of the procession will also run from 12.11 pm via: Friedrich-Ebert-Allee (line-up) - Wilhelmstraße - Taunusstraße - Georg-August-Zinn-Straße - Kranzplatz - Langgasse - Webergasse - An den Quellen - Schlossplatz I and II - Marktstraße - Friedrichstraße - Schwalbacher Straße - Bleichstraße - Bismarckring - Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring - Rheinstraße - Friedrich-Ebert-Allee (dispersal). The end of the procession is planned for around 5.30 pm.
The route will be completely closed to traffic during the parade. It should also be noted that parking is prohibited along the route from 11 p.m. on Saturday. Illegally parked vehicles will be towed away for a fee. All residents and road users are asked for their understanding for the traffic obstructions caused by the carnival procession.
