Worth doing

Taking a stroll through busy downtown Wroclaw, visitors will feel the vital, lively, and cheerful atmosphere of the city, which presents itself as an open-minded, creative, and artistic metropolis.

The city's large and diverse cultural programme includes 70 music, theatre, and film festivals, a Classic Festival, jazz concerts in a unique riverside atmosphere, and the "T-Mobile New Horizons" Festival. A diverse range of theatre performances is also available. Cinema-loving residents and guests can choose among several multiplex cinemas, the "Lower Silesia center of film" and "Arthouse New Horizons". Wroclaw also invites you to visit its many clubs, museums and galleries.

For all of 2016, Wiesbaden's twin town is also a designated "European Capital of Culture".

The roughly 130,000 Polish and international students give Wroclaw a cosmopolitan flair. It is fittingly called an international city.
