Heßloch: A pearl of Wiesbaden

Hessloch is not only the smallest, but also one of the most idyllic districts in Wiesbaden.

Idyll

Hessloch is located on the edge of the Taunus mountains and at the beginning of the Wäschbach valley. Nestled in orchards and surrounded by wooded hills, the district offers a unique combination of rural charm and an active village community.

Hessloch is not only the smallest, but also one of the most idyllic districts in Wiesbaden.

With heart and community spirit

Heßloch is characterized by a lively club life in which the residents themselves lend a hand. Examples of this are the wine press house in the center of the village, which was built by the residents themselves, and the new construction of the TuS Heßloch gymnasium. The bell tower of the Bodelschwingh Protestant parish was also built thanks to generous donations from the people of Heßloch.

Orchards and wine festival

The orchards around Hessloch not only characterize the landscape, but also the traditions of the village. The wine press house with bakery offers insights into the history of apple pressing and cider production.

Circular hiking trails for everyone

The nature around Hessloch can be explored on four well-signposted circular hiking trails, which take between 30 and 100 minutes to walk. The trails, maintained by the Heßloch Wine Press House Association, invite you to stroll through the idyllic Wäschbach valley, the orchards and the forests of the Vordertaunus. The path symbol of the hazelnut is a reminder of the origins of the district.

Living in the countryside

Today, Hessloch is a preferred residential area for homeowners. The village-like structure and the natural surroundings make the district an attractive place for anyone looking for peace and community.

A highlight in Heßloch

A highlight of the annual calendar is the popular Kuckuckskerb, which attracts locals and visitors alike.

From the statistics

People know each other: 664 people live in Hessloch. This makes Hessloch the smallest district in the state capital of Wiesbaden.
