The "Social and health" statistics contain data on recipients of basic income support for jobseekers, housing benefit and parental benefit. It also includes data on daycare centers, people in need of care, severely disabled people, doctors, hospitals and school entry examinations.

Childcare

Almost one in ten Wiesbaden households will receive benefits from the basic income support for jobseekers (SGB II) in 2023.

2,723 single parents will be dependent on SGB II benefits in 2023, which corresponds to 44 percent of all single parents.

31,300 Wiesbaden residents will have a severely disabled person's pass with a degree of disability of at least 50 in 2023.

In 2023, 6,123 mothers or fathers will receive parental allowance, 31 percent parental allowance plus.
