Regional coordination OloV

As a Hesse-wide strategy, OloV stands for the optimization of local placement work. OloV was launched in 2005 as a project of the Hessian Pact for Training and has since been implemented as a Hessian state strategy.

The Hesse-wide strategy is funded by the European Union, the Hessian Ministry of Economics, Energy, Transport, Housing and Rural Areas and the Hessian Ministry of Culture, Education and Opportunities.

OloV steering group Wiesbaden and Rheingau-Taunus district
All cooperation partners in the local youth vocational assistance network work together in the OloV steering group in order to present the regional training opportunities more transparently and to create good transitions from school to work for young people.

A special feature of this steering group, which meets three to four times a year, is that the Wiesbaden and Rheingau-Taunus-Kreis regions work together in it. The reason for this is that the employment agency, the state education authority and the chambers of commerce are equally responsible for both regions.

Each region is represented by one person in the coordination of the steering group. The work is carried out hand in hand. At a political level, the relevant training market stakeholders from the city of Wiesbaden and the Rheingau-Taunus district have renewed their regional target agreement from 2021 to 2025.
