Humanitarian consultation hour
The Humanitarian Consultation Hour is a low-threshold offer of acute medical assistance for all people, especially migrants in precarious situations and without adequate health insurance cover.
This help is provided by doctors, including gynecologists, pediatricians and midwives, mainly on a voluntary basis. The joint project consists of:
- People who need health insurance cover and live in Wiesbaden or the Rheingau-Taunus district can contact the Diakonie health insurance clearing house (opens in a new tab).
- General medical and dental care for adults on the premises of the Diakonie Wiesbaden tearoom (opens in a new tab)
- General medical consultation hours for adults at Malteser Medizin für Menschen ohne Krankenversicherung (opens in a new tab) (MMM) at the Helios Dr. Horst Schmidt Clinics
- Pregnancy care in the form of midwife consultations at the pro familia advice center in Wiesbaden (opens in a new tab),
Examinations by participating gynecologists, deliveries in the Wiesbaden maternity clinics - Pediatric care in cooperation with the Catholic Women's Social Service (opens in a new tab) and pediatricians in private practice
The service is free of charge for users. The administrative management is the responsibility of the Integration Department of the Office for Immigration and Integration. Financial issues are also dealt with here in accordance with the municipal funding guidelines.

The Caritas Association's migration advice service and the Wiesbaden German Service Center are also located in the same building.
The German Service Center can only be reached in person by appointment.
