Residential homes for the elderly in the city of Wiesbaden
The state capital of Wiesbaden offers a large number of apartments for senior citizens in cooperation with various housing companies.
A central rental office has been set up in cooperation with the housing associations GWW and Nassauische Heimstätte. This office is located in the Office for Social Work, Department for Work with the Elderly. It is also responsible for the city's own facilities. The rental office manages a total of eleven retirement homes for people aged 55 and over. Here we answer all questions about the housing complexes for older people. We are also responsible for brokering the apartments and managing the tenancies.
In some residential complexes, the Elderly Work department offers additional services. These include daily lunches and regular events. These events include coffee afternoons, memory training and carnival and Christmas parties. There are also external consultations with the advice centers for independent living in old age.
Many apartments are publicly subsidized and are intended for people with limited financial means. Applications can also be obtained from the Department for Work with the Elderly. The contact details can be found below. If you have an application number, you can contact the rental office. In the freely financed housing complexes of the City of Wiesbaden, there is no need to apply to the housing agency.
