The mayor of Schierstein, Karl Lehr, was buried in the Schierstein cemetery in 1907. A street in Schierstein was also named after him. There is a Jewish section, but it is locked. The key is kept by the cemetery staff. Another Jewish cemetery between Schierstein and Walluf is also administered. This is also not accessible. An araucaria, also known as an Andes fir, grows on the wall facing Elbestrasse. There is a memorial stone for the victims of the First World War on the field of honor for both world wars.
