Originally there was a cemetery to the north and south of the church on what is now Venatorstraße. In 1824, a new cemetery was laid out on Wolfsfeld in favor of the construction of the old Bierstadt town hall, which today houses the Robert Koch elementary school.
A particularly striking burial place in the Bierstadt cemetery is the mausoleum of the Thoma couple, who had no children. And the important Wiesbaden garden and landscape architect Wilhelm Hirsch, who among other things planned the Reisinger grounds at Wiesbaden's main railway station and the Opelbad grounds on the Neroberg, which are exemplary for the modern architecture of such grounds, was buried here in 1957.
