Who receives benefits for education and participation?
Children, adolescents and young adults who are still at school and have little or no income. Beneficiaries who are entitled to
Basic income support for jobseekers (SGB II),
assistance for subsistence, basic security in old age and in the event of reduced earning capacity (SGB XII),
benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act (AsylbLG),
housing benefit or
child supplement.
People who do not receive any of the above-mentioned benefits, but who cannot or can only partially finance the requirements from the education and participation package, can also contact the Education and Participation Office for advice.
