Promotion bonus

In addition to the Upgrading BAföG, you can also apply to the state of Hesse for the upgrading bonus. This is a lump-sum bonus that is paid as subsequent recognition for passing a master craftsman or equivalent examination. If the upgrading BAföG and upgrading bonus are claimed together, the costs of master craftsman training can be completely offset.
