The Intercultural Summer Festival will also be celebrated in 2025

As a festival of encounters, the Intercultural Summer Festival is an established event that reflects the openness and diversity of the state capital. With a wide range of culinary offerings and information stands from organizations, associations and initiatives on the topic of diversity, visitors have the opportunity to experience an enjoyable and varied day - naturally also with offers for the youngest, such as face painting.

There will be a varied stage program in front of the town hall. The festival will be officially opened at 10 a.m. by Lord Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende. This will be followed by cultural groups performing a variety of performance styles throughout the day and into the early evening hours.

At 1 p.m., the head of the city council, Dr. Gerhard Obermayr, and city councillor Milena Löbcke will address the attendees. The Chairman of the Foreigners' Advisory Council, Ibrahim Kızılgöz, will also speak.

Throughout the day, the Office for Immigration and Integration and numerous cooperation partners of the City of Wiesbaden will be providing information about their services and projects at a stand. Among others, the emergency housing assistance, Caritas migration counseling, the employment agency, the educational institution Spiegelbild and many other actors will be present. This year, as in 2023, numerous city administration offices will once again be presenting their services to guests at the summer festival and will be available to answer questions and provide information. The city's HR department will also be represented with its own stand. Here, all visitors, especially families and young adults, will have the opportunity to find out first-hand about the wide range of training and career opportunities offered by the city administration.
