Momo after Michael Ende

Michael Ende's novel "Momo" is the basis of the play, which you can experience on Saturday, May 10, at 4 p.m. in the Velvets Theater.

Scene from "Momo"

Momo lives alone in an old amphitheater. She has hardly any material possessions, but she has one thing in particular: time. She likes to share it with her friends Beppo and Gigi. Everyone likes Momo because she is an excellent listener. But one day everything changes: no one visits Momo anymore. She gets to the bottom of the matter and discovers the secret of the gray men from the Time Savings Bank, who steal people's life time and ensure that life becomes increasingly dull. To save her friends, Momo takes up the fight against the gray power with the help of the turtle Cassiopeia and Master Hora.

The problem of "time wasters" of all kinds is more topical today than ever, and "Momo" gives us food for thought to fill our limited time with meaning and life again.

For adults and children aged eight and over.
