The two musicians met while studying music in Mainz, where they established themselves as a duo. They are always on the lookout for varied programs and try to find a mixture of the familiar and the unfamiliar, the old and the new, the sacred and the secular.

Gabriela Blaudow studied church music (B), elementary music pedagogy, piano pedagogy and artistic piano training in Mainz. Her extensive training enables her to work in many different areas. In addition to a part-time position at St. Thomas Church in Wiesbaden, she looks after pupils of all ages, teaches in daycare centers and retirement homes and conducts children's choirs.

Lisa Rau was born in Wiesbaden and discovered her love of music at an early age. After graduating from high school, she studied classical singing at the Mainz University of Music with Silke Evers and others. She successfully completed her studies in 2014 with a diploma. She also supplemented her training with a degree in vocal pedagogy, which she also completed with a diploma in 2015.

She made her opera debut at the Mainz State Theater in the 2009/10 season as "First Witch" and "Second Woman" in Henry Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas". Further roles followed. She is particularly dedicated to chamber music and lieder singing. Lisa Rau lives as a freelance opera and concert singer in Wiesbaden and teaches singing.
