Friday music in the Monta
Once a quarter on Fridays at 7.30 pm, the Wilhelminian-style chapel on Schulberg - the Monta cultural venue - in the beautiful Bergkirchen district opens its doors and invites music-loving and curious people to rediscover chamber music.
Chamber music in instrumentation ranging from solo to quartet offers an intimate and intense experience of experiencing the sound of each instrument and the interaction of the musicians up close. The combination of progressive classical music, world music and other genres opens up new and interesting sound experiences and new musical perspectives.
Thinking outside the box is expressly encouraged! The moderated format of the series allows the musicians to explain their pieces and tell the stories behind the works.
After the concert, you are cordially invited to talk to the artists.
As a former church, the Kulturstätte Monta offers good acoustics and is easy to reach by bike, on foot or by public transport - with lines 3 stop Michelsberg, lines 1 and 8 stop Webergasse.
