These opera glasses belonged to the Flössner family. Franz Flössner was a Wiesbaden composer, pianist and music teacher. He lived from 1899 to 1972 and his works include orchestral works, solo concertos, chamber and piano music, songs and operas. He also wrote his own compositions, such as the "Mass of the Lonely" from 1924. He is buried in the North Cemetery in Wiesbaden.
