From prehistory and early history to the present day - the exhibition "Wiesbadener Lieblingsstücke" offers an overview of the city's history. Every month, visitors to the "sam - Stadtmuseum am Markt" choose their favorite piece from the collections at a multimedia station.
As a participatory element, there is a citizen sponsor for selected objects. The objective selection of historical objects by the experts is supplemented by subjective statements from contemporary people.
Visitors to "sam - Stadtmuseum am Markt" also have the opportunity to use the database to choose their favorite item from the city museum's collection, which is then integrated into the exhibition for a certain period of time. This makes it clear that exhibitions are always a selection that can be changed.
