Purpose of the processing of personal data

The data for address management, information and contact management are collected by the responsible body and processed within the Department of Business and Employment.

In addition to the company data (company name, date of foundation, address, web address, sector, core product/main activity), we also collect your personal data (title, name, function, position, academic degree, telephone/fax number, e-mail address).

We process your personal data primarily for internal information purposes, for the purpose of sending invitations to events in Wiesbaden and the surrounding area as well as information relating to business and employment. The data is used within the department to prepare appointments, in anonymized form for e.g. newsletters, political statements, reporting and e-mail invitation management (then blind carbon copy). Non-anonymized data (e.g. in the form of invitation lists or as company information from appointment preparations) is only made available within the department either for approval or as information material. The data will not be passed on to third parties for processing.

If you expressly consent to this in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1a GDPR, we will use your e-mail address to send you regular information on business and employment-related topics, events and a newsletter. It is sufficient to provide an e-mail address to receive this information.

No further data is collected in this context. We use your personal data collected in this regard exclusively to send you information relating to business and employment, events and a newsletter.

You can unsubscribe at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you can send your unsubscribe request at any time to wirtschaftwiesbadende by e-mail.

The processing of your personal data is based on your voluntary consent, so that Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR forms the legal basis for the processing.

Data erasure and storage duration

Unless an explicit storage period is specified below, your personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. However, data may also be stored in the event of an (impending) legal dispute with you or other legal proceedings or if storage is provided for by statutory provisions to which we as the controller are subject. The data will also be blocked or deleted if a storage period prescribed by the aforementioned standards expires, unless further storage by us is necessary and there is a legal basis for this.

  • Company and / or personal data of company contacts will be deleted when they leave the company after accessing the information.
  • Contacts with external parties with whom there has been no active exchange for at least one year are checked and deleted if necessary.

Transfer of data to a third country or an international organization

Data is not transferred to bodies in third countries.
