Easter market

The traditional Easter market offers a varied program in the city centre on an open Sunday with a craft and fabric market, Easter decorations, culinary delights and delicacies as well as music and a varied program for children.

From Friday to Sunday, the Easter market traditionally offers a wealth of handicrafts, textiles, decorations and gift ideas at 70 stalls and also promises high-quality delicatessen products and culinary delights. The stalls are located along the pedestrian zone from Rheinstraße via Mauritiusplatz to Michelsberg.

The Easter market is a crowd-puller and particularly attractive for families thanks to the Sunday shopping hours. At the same time, it is an important presentation platform for local retailers.

On Sunday, which is organized in cooperation with the Wiesbaden Wunderbar advertising association, the stores and businesses in the historic pentagon open their doors and offer the opportunity for relaxed strolling and shopping with the whole family. To get to the Sunday shopping event quickly and conveniently, public transport in the Wiesbaden city area can be used free of charge. If you come to the Easter market by bike in a sustainable and climate-friendly way, you can park your bike in the bicycle garage at the Dern'sche Gelände.

On Sunday, the Dern'sche Gelände will be the venue for the traditional large fabric market, with around 100 stalls selling fabrics and patterns as well as lots of accessories for sewing and tailoring.

Pop, rock and cover songs are in the repertoire of the soloists and bands who will be performing on the stage at Mauritiusplatz from Friday to Sunday.

On Sunday, children's carousels on Mauritiusplatz and in front of the Luisenforum will provide fun for the younger guests. Children can also look forward to a varied program with painting, handicrafts and face painting activities. Traditionally, walk acts and stilt walkers can also be admired at the Easter market, as well as the "Easter bunnies", who hand out sweet treats to the strolling guests.
