Understandable medicine - Health topic of the month
Understandable Medicine is a series of events organized by the Wiesbaden Health Department together with the Wiesbaden Medical Practice Network, AOK Hessen, the Association of Employees' Health Insurance Funds, the BKK Landesverband Hessen and many Wiesbaden health experts. Through monthly "health forums", they all want to inform citizens about the possibilities of health promotion, prevention and treatment methods, as well as about help for coping with the consequences of illness and living with a disability and the wide range of self-help services.
The aim is to motivate citizens to adopt healthier behavior and to promote their personal competence and responsibility. In addition to the presentations, institutions, self-help groups and health insurance companies offer a supporting program on the respective health topic.
Participation in all events is free of charge and possible without prior registration; the patient forums take place in the city council meeting room in the town hall, Schlossplatz 6.
