FrAnKHA (early guidance by pediatric nurses, midwives and doctors)

Early guidance by pediatric nurses, midwives and doctors, FrAnKHA for short, supports pregnant women and parents of children in their first year of life with questions about their own health, birth preparation and the health, development, nutrition and care of their baby. The prevention service aims to help parents overcome their insecurities and strengthen their competence. This takes place in the form of home visits, during which practical instructions are given and detailed information is provided on topics such as healthy eating, breastfeeding, sleeping and crying, necessary check-ups, vaccinations, care and healthy baby development. FrAnKHA is a voluntary, free and confidential advice and support service.

A team of experienced family pediatric nurses, family midwives and doctors from the public health department are available for this purpose.
