Reusch, Hugo

Director of the Nassauische Landesbank

Born: 24.05.1833 in Brilon (Westphalia)

Reusch, who initially worked at the Nassauische Landesbank as a Landesbank councillor and from 1895 as a director, also became involved in local politics from 1891.

In October 1891, Reusch, who was close to the "German Free Finns", was elected to the Wiesbaden City Council for the first time. Shortly afterwards, he was elected deputy chairman of the city council. He served as such until June 1897, and from then until his death, he was the head of the city council. He was also active - beyond Wiesbaden - in the Old Catholic community.
