Freudenberg encounter

The Freudenberger Begegnung, an open discussion and dialog forum, was founded in 1978 by Dr. ing. Günter Stahl, then churchwarden at the Evangelical Epiphany Parish in Wiesbaden-Freudenberg. The main idea was that of human encounters; current issues of democratic coexistence and the church were the focus of discussions between people of different spiritual, religious and political positions.

By 2004, 260 meetings had been held on the Freudenberg, most recently in cooperation with the "Offenes Forum e.V." (Open Forum Association). The guests included numerous well-known artists, politicians, scientists and writers. The events were documented in the series "Blätter um die Freudenberger Begegnung" (eight volumes).
