Notes on the selection procedure
If more applications are received for stands of certain sizes than the number of available stands, a selection will be made in accordance with Section 70 (3) of the Trade Regulation Act (GewO). The decisive criterion for the selection is the attractiveness, which is measured according to the following characteristics, which are weighted differently according to a points system, taking into account the purpose of the event (concept of the market), the design intention (number of different product groups, type of goods) and the site-specific conditions (placement of the stands) of the respective event:
- Variety of goods and services on offer
- fourfold weighting, - Originality of the range of goods and services
- fourfold weighting, - Appearance and condition of the shop/stand
- triple weighting, - Special features of the presentation (e.g. craft demonstrations, special clothing, etc.)
- single weighting.
