Chairman of the City Council and Presidium
The municipal council elected a new executive committee at its constituent meeting on April 29, 2021. Dr. Gerhard Obermayr was elected Chairman of the City Council.
The head of the municipal council is a member of the municipal council. He or she is elected by the plenary for the current electoral term.
Their duties include setting the time of the meetings of the city council and the agenda, issuing invitations to the meeting in good time, chairing the meeting and exercising the right of order and domiciliary rights.
