Wiesbaden Foreigners' Advisory Council
The Foreigners' Advisory Council was founded in Wiesbaden in 1972 and celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022 as a freely elected and democratically legitimized body.
Goals of the Foreigners' Advisory Council
Wherever the interests of the foreign population are affected, the advice and cooperation of the Foreigners' Advisory Council is required. It advocates a local integration policy and campaigns against unequal treatment and discrimination. Equal educational opportunities and integration in kindergarten, school and the workplace are among its goals, as is the promotion of club life. The advisory board also organizes cultural and political events. Here, people from different countries and continents have the opportunity for personal and cultural encounters.
