In the Bachelor of Arts - Digital Administration course, you will work with us on the design and implementation of digital administrative processes to make the lives of Wiesbaden residents as pleasant as possible.
When you start your studies, you will be made a civil servant on revocation.
Your tasks? Rethinking administration!
- You develop smart tools and digital solutions that make administration more efficient and citizen-friendly.
- You analyze and optimize administrative processes through the use of digital technologies.
- You create digital communication channels that simplify the exchange between citizens and the administration.
- You will be part of innovative transformation projects and contribute fresh ideas to make the administration fit for the future.
- You support the administration in the transition to digital processes and solutions.
- You will ensure that digital solutions comply with legal requirements and that digital data is processed in accordance with the law.
Your studies? Smart, digital and future-proof!
- Start date: September 1
- Duration of studies: 3 years (6 semesters)
- Practical training: placement in max. 5 departments of the Wiesbaden city administration (general administration, data processing/IT, organization, special projects, career introduction)
- Theoretical training: University of Applied Sciences for Public Management and Security (opens in a new tab) (HöMS) in Mühlheim am Main (block teaching)
- Course content: Legal, administrative and social sciences, business administration, basics of artificial intelligence/programming/SAP, process management and organization, administrative informatics, etc.
- Examinations: Bachelor's thesis and colloquium, module examinations

Must-haves
- General higher education entrance qualification or entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences or other school education qualifying for university studies
- Fulfillment of the requirements under civil service law (e.g. German citizenship or citizenship of an EU member state, health suitability)
- Maximum age at the start of studies: 40 years
- Successful participation in an online aptitude test and an interview
- Good written and spoken German language skills
