"For the third time in a short space of time, the municipal electoral office had to manage an election. The fact that three elections went smoothly and without any problems is also largely thanks to the outstanding commitment of the election assistants. I would like to express my sincere thanks, also for the great willingness of the people of Wiesbaden to make themselves available for this office," emphasized Lord Mayor Mende.

The responsible department head Koohestanian adds: "Elections are also a logistical challenge for the administration. I would therefore also like to thank the administrative staff for their professional work. My special thanks also go to the many citizens who have done exemplary work as election assistants."

"We very much hope that the interest of the numerous volunteers will continue, because the next election is just around the corner and this commitment to our democracy is indispensable and great," Mende and Koohestanian conclude.
