"Thanks to a new digital platform, it is now possible to book the barbecue areas at Wiesbaden's 'Old Cemetery' all year round and not just in the summer season," says Wiesbaden's Mayor and Head of Organization, Christiane Hinninger: "This is a good example of how the digitalization of our municipal services is not an end in itself, but also benefits citizens thanks to the simplified processes."

The new digital system will make it much easier for users to find the barbecue area they want on the day they want. The availability of barbecue areas is displayed transparently, making double bookings and confusion a thing of the past. Once a reservation has been made, residents will immediately receive a confirmation, giving them planning security for their barbecue events.

The barbecue areas at the Old Cemetery can now be booked via the "ANNY" reservation platform at www.wiesbaden.de/grillplaetze.
