Public service strikes: restrictions in daycare centers and primary school care in Wiesbaden
The trade union Verdi has called for strikes in the public sector in Hesse on Friday, March 7. Daycare centers and social institutions in Wiesbaden are also affected.
According to the current status, the elementary school providing childcare (BGS) at the following locations will remain closed: - Riederbergschule - Krautgartenschule - Friedrich-von-Schiller-Schule
At some other schools, limited emergency operation will be offered until 3 or 4 pm: - Anton-Gruner-Schule - Grundschule Sauerland - Brüder-Grimm-Schule
In addition, a total of five daycare centers will be closed tomorrow: - Rosel-und-Josef-Stock daycare center - Geschwister-Stock-Platz 1 - Klarenthal - Schlangenbader Straße - Galatea-Anlage - Karl-Arnold-Straße
The parents affected have already been informed. In urgent cases, alternative care will be provided in the region.
As the facilities are not obliged to inform about their participation in the strike in advance, information about tomorrow's closures or restrictions can only be given with reservations.
Parents are advised to obtain information about the current situation at short notice from the respective facilities or via the official channels.
